We are not professional journalists. We do not actively write for serialized publications. Instead, we are simply passionate Asian film fans that get a strange kick out of posting our thoughts. Collectively, we have logged thousands of hours watching Anime and countless other Asian films. While Anime is a large portion of this site's content, we also strive to present a viewpoint in various forms of Asian cinema. Primarily, Korean, Chinese/Hong Kong and Japanese films are our live-action interests. We are also fans of the Thai and Malaysian film industries. What are Impressions? Impressions are almost exclusively for Anime series'. An impression is essentially a write-up based on a Staff Writer's impression of a series thus far. Meaning they will not be posted for a series that is already completed; they will only be posted for shows that are still being released. What are requirements for reviewing a T.V. series? In order to review an anime series, for example, the reviewer is required to watch it in its entirety. Meaning we do not post reviews based on partial viewings of a T.V. series. We will post reviews of DVD releases, however. How does the rating system work? At the bottom of every review is a rating given by the reviewer, which also includes what the score actually means. It is based on a 5 star system. Five being Excellent and Zero being beyond horrible. What's the history of Stealth Evolution? We started out as a gaming community back in 2000, focusing on Blizzard Entertainment's products. In mid-2003, we switched to focus on Anime and Asian films. However, by 2005 the site became inactive. Just this past October of 2006 we reopened, and hope to maintain our presence for a long time to come. How are website updates handled? We do our best to provide at the very least one review a week. Sometimes it will be more, and hopefully infrequently it will be less. How do affiliations work?
